Actually I read a TSB about doing that, seem to recall they had a manner to do it so that folks who bandy regular tires for snow tires in certain areas wouldn't take to put up with the annoyance for months at a time. I'd practice a search right now simply I've got to exist upwardly in six hours for work then I need to get off the computer. Simply wanted to mention that information technology *might* be possible.

You might exist OK on your '04, but information technology is federal law for a vehicle to take TPMS for and vehicle '06 and up. So, I wouln't think that there is an like shooting fish in a barrel mode of doing it and I would call back that the dealers aren't looking to help anyone out either.

That being said, I wish in that location was a way. I couldn't become the wheels I wanted because they didn't support my TPMS. I check my tire force per unit area often. I don't need an idiot low-cal telling me that they are depression. I have but had information technology go off once since I purchased it and that was on the way home from where I purchased it. The spare needed air. Other than that, it has went into fault mode once, reset itself and has kept me from purchasing a good fix of wheels. Worthless if you ask me. Stupid/Lazy people practice nil only hinder and restrict anybody else.

I idea they were mandatory in 06? But now that yous mention it I have safety valve stems and I don't run across a tpms light flash with ignition, is it in a higher place the trans temp and oil calorie-free? If so that would be great. Maybe on the right side? Could I drive around with my spare at 5psi? Would that trip information technology if I had i?

Only at present that you mention it I have rubber valve stems and I don't come across a tpms light wink with ignition, is information technology above the trans temp and oil calorie-free? TPMS became 100% standard for '08+ vehicles.Option for everything before.

I accept a simple solution, buy another EVIC that doesn't have the TPMS.

Some other solution that I've heard about is to remove your TPMS from your rims and place them in a pressurized container @ 32 PSI.

But in case anyone wonders... this does non set up the problem. Also, sorry for bringing back the dead, only I'yard having this same exact issue currently. Time for a dealer trip.

Just in case anyone wonders... this does not fix the problem. As well, sorry for bringing back the dead, but I'm having this same exact event currently. Fourth dimension for a dealer trip.

Why? The dealership can only gear up the TPMS issue(big $$$ out of your pocket),they can not past federal law disable the organisation in anyhow, that includes the chimes.
